A few quick questions. Then a time that works for you.

Most local search accounts pay for clicks that were never going to call.

Google makes it easy to spend money on search ads and hard to spend it well. Broad keywords, automatic settings, and a landing page that asks for a form fill add up to a big bill and a quiet phone.

The typical account we inherit is bidding on words like 'plumber' with no negatives, showing ads across a fifty mile radius, and sending every click to a homepage. Half the clicks come from people looking for jobs, suppliers, or a how-to video. The other half land on a page with no phone number above the fold.

Google's own recommendations make it worse. Broad match, automated bidding with no conversion history, and 'optimized' settings all push spend up before there is any data to justify it. Owners see the bill, see one or two calls, and conclude that search ads do not work for their trade.

They do work. They just have to be built around a phone call, with keywords tight enough that a click means a homeowner who needs the job done this week.

How we build a search account that pays for itself.

Four decisions separate an account that produces booked jobs from one that produces a spreadsheet of clicks.

Keywords that mean a job

Exact and phrase match on the searches a customer types when they are ready to hire.

'Water heater replacement near me' is a job. 'Water heater' is a research project. We build the account around the first kind and use a long negative keyword list to block the second: DIY, jobs, salary, supplier, free, and the hundreds of terms that come up in every trade.

Emergency and same-day searches get their own campaigns with their own budget. They are the most expensive clicks and the most valuable calls, and they should never compete for budget with routine work.

Ads that ask for a call

Call extensions, call-only ads on mobile, and a headline that says what you do and where.

Most of your customers search on a phone. On mobile we run call-focused ads that put your number in the ad itself, so a customer can tap and call without ever loading a page. Desktop ads point to a landing page built for one action.

Every ad names the service and the area. Someone in Hoboken searching for a roofer should see the word Hoboken. That one detail outperforms any clever headline.

A landing page with one job

Phone number above the fold, proof beside it, and nothing that competes with the call.

We do not send paid traffic to your homepage. Each campaign gets a landing page focused on that service: what you do, where you do it, your reviews and license, and a phone number that is visible without scrolling. If you do not have one, we build it as part of the setup.

The page is measured on one thing: the share of visitors who call. Anything on the page that does not help that number gets removed.

Call tracking that tells the truth

Every call from an ad is recorded and tagged, so we optimize toward booked jobs, not clicks.

A tracking number forwards to your real line and records which keyword and ad produced each call. We listen to the calls, mark which ones were real customers, and feed that back into bidding. Over a few weeks, the account learns to spend on the searches that book and starve the ones that do not.

You see the same data we do: spend, calls, real customers, and cost per booked job, in a report you can read in two minutes.

What the search account includes.

No setup fee and no management fee until your first client. Ad spend is paid to Google directly at the budget you set.

Account audit or build

If you have an existing account we audit it for free and keep what works. If not, we build it from scratch with the right structure from day one.

Keyword and negative research

A keyword list built around ready-to-hire searches in your trade, and a negative list that blocks the ones that waste money.

Ad copy and extensions

Ads written for your services and towns, with call, location, and sitelink extensions set up so the ad takes more of the screen.

Landing page

A fast, call-focused page for each main service, built and hosted by us if you need one.

Call tracking and recording

A forwarding number that records source and outcome for every call, so optimization is based on real customers.

Weekly optimization

Search term review, bid and budget adjustments, and new negatives added every week. Bigger structure changes every month.
